The Museo de Piedras y Artesanía Canaria, unfortunately closed in 2018, is a special building. Many have fond memories of this museum which has hosted many tourists and locals since 1964. The museum was divided into 4 parts. The first part was a souvenir shop with many handmade products which were made here. The stone museum with botanical garden had over five thousand different stones from the continent of the Canary Islands. There were also a number of tools that the farmers used to work with. There was a church section with a great wealth of props. Ultimately, perhaps the biggest loss, the Belen Navidad, was the largest nativity scene in Spain. Every year people could visit the Belen and find themselves in different worlds of miniatures.
